Margarita Delueze
was born in Caracas Venezuela in the middle part the 20th century.
After moving to the United States in the early '80s, Margarita's
commissioned equestrian work began to flourish and an attraction
to the explosively tropical colors of her Florida habitat inspired
a series of "coconut paintings", which have met with critical
acclaim. These still life paintings were the first to show the
meticulouse textures of fruits and allow the viewer to fell the
aesthetic reality of the artist. Having participated in solo and
group shows in Caracas, she accelerated the pace of her exhibitions
after moving to the United States with a permanent exhibition
at GDS Fine Arts Studio in Coral Gables, Art Americas in Miami
Beach, Art Expo N.Y., Art Expo L.A., as well as many prestigious
galleries in Florida and New York, while continuing to be active
in Europe, where she has exhibited in Spain, Italy and Germany.
She recently exhibited in the most prestigious art show in her
native Venezuela, the International Art Fair of Caracas. Today,
Margarita's work hangs in private collections throughout the US,
Europe and Latin America. Margarita Deleuze began her artistic
career drawing horses. Her work evolves from charcoals to oils
and from painting horses to incorporating other animals and fruit
in the realistic expression of her art.
