Born in Dallas Texas December 7th 1967, Jennifer earned her
B.A. in Architecture from Arizona State University and later
pursued fine art studies in Europe. If she had her way, Jennifer
Hollack would live in a little house made of stones on the Greek
Island of Paros. She would spend her days barefoot by the sea,
painting people and boats, and at night dancing with the men
and women of the village. Her love affair with exotic places
took root while studying architecture and art at the Aegean
Center for the Arts, which is located on Paros.
Jennifer’s love of exotic
cultures and history have enriched her work and ideas with an
expressive fascination for color, texture, pattern, and form.
“All my life I’ve been taught to do my best” Jennifer explains
“When I was in Venice I saw the most beautiful piece of glass
art, I took all my spending money and invested in that vase,
it was my big splurge today, when I paint a piece of art I think
to myself, this is someone’s big splurge, with that in mind
I try to create a piece that’s beyond my expectations, I want
it to be the best piece that I can paint”. Jennifer credits
her mother’s boundless creativity as the inspiration for her
own. Ms. Hollack has recently made several trips to Egypt and
inspiration apparent in her work of the late 1990’s. Ms. Hollacks
work appears nationally and her popularity as an artist has
blossomed in the new millennium. Ms. Hollacks work is now available
as original art, limited edition prints, and signed glicees.
Her work appears at galleries throughout the United States.
She is presently represented by the Phoenix Art Group, one of
the largest fine art agencies in the United States. |
